Free technology services for NZ charities and community groups

NZRT Network provides Knowledge Systems, Claude Code AI Agent Setup, and Self-Hosted Business Stack free of charge to qualifying NZ charitable organisations, community groups, schools, kura, and marae.

We also manufacture portable wooden IT display easels (Iteasel) donated or sold at cost to schools and libraries.

If your organisation genuinely cannot afford commercial technology services, we want to hear from you.

Who can apply

  • NZ registered charities (Charities Register)
  • Incorporated societies and community trusts
  • Schools and kura (including low-decile and rural)
  • Marae and hapū organisations
  • Libraries and community halls
  • Any organisation genuinely unable to afford commercial IT services

We prioritise organisations in Northland and other high-deprivation regions, though applications are open to qualifying organisations nationwide.

Knowledge Systems

Structured Obsidian knowledge vaults — schema design, documentation frameworks, and AI-ready organisation. Gives your organisation the information management capability of a large corporate. Delivered at nil cost to qualifying organisations.

Claude Code AI Agent Setup

Multi-agent Claude AI systems configured with scoped operational roles and workflow integrations. Gives your team automation and AI capability without hiring staff or paying enterprise software fees. Delivered at nil cost to qualifying organisations.

Self-Hosted Business Stack

Integrated open-source infrastructure: Nextcloud (file sharing and collaboration), Dolibarr (ERP and CRM), WordPress (web presence). Eliminates monthly SaaS subscription costs. Includes setup, configuration, and handover. Delivered at nil cost to qualifying organisations.

Iteasel — Portable Wooden Easel for IT Display

Schools, kura, and libraries can apply for donated or cost-price Iteasel units — portable wooden easels for IT display (laptops, Raspberry Pi with monitor, and similar devices).

Manufactured in Northland from Hume Pine and plywood. Priority given to Northland and low-decile institutions.
